Polokwane Golf Club - 1.5km:
The Polokwane Golf Club offers a halfway house, bar, changing rooms, braai area and swimming pool. This 18 hole / 72 par golf course is proud to have Retief Goosen, 2001 U.S. Open Champion as a previous club professional.
Polokwane Game Reserve - 8.5km:
The Polokwane Game Reserve is one of the country's largest municipal-owned game reserves. This game reserve's main attraction must be the amount of ground one can cover on foot - there are a number of walks, including a one-day 20 kilometre hiking trail with overnight accommodation.
Peter Mokaba Stadium - 2km:
The Stadium is located in Magasyn Street, 5 km from the Polokwane City Centre. The crisp, modern design was inspired by the baobab tree (Adansonia digitata), an ancient tree revered by the local population. At each corner of the steel and concrete structure is a squat, cylindrical structure that resembles the tree's muscular trunk which can grow up to 28m in girth.
Savannah Mall - 2.5km:
This is currently the biggest mall in Polokwane that offers a wide variety of shopping opportunities, restaurants, entertainment for kids and a cinema.
Bakone Malapa Northern Sotho Open-air Museum - 12km:
Regarded as a living museum, the Bakone Malapa Museum near Polokwane is one of several museums and national monuments that bear testimony to South Africa's people.
Haenertsburg Village - 35km:
The tiny village of Haenertsburg consists of just one main street. This is a lovely place to explore the souvenir shops and enjoy a quiet meal before or after enjoying the great outdoors of the Letaba District. Originally a gold rush town that sprung up in 1887, Haenertsburg is now a destination for the avid hiker, the urban escapee, and the nature lover.
